We tagged along with Tandon on a business trip to Cedar Rapids, Iowa a few weeks ago. The few days prior to the trip Anna kept asking if were going to pet the bunnies at the motel. No one could figure out what she was talking about. After many conversations with her about bunnies and rabbits it finally dawned on me what she was talking about. We had been telling the kids that we were going to stay in a motel in Cedar Rapids. Anna thought we had been saying, "We are going to the motel 'n see da rabbits."
KELLEN
The kids and I swam in the motel pool one day in 'See da Rabbits.' :o) While sitting in the hot tub, Kellen said, "I like hot tubs. Can you sign me up for hot tub lessons?"

Hot tub lessons!! Sign me up too!!! Hilarious! And, isn't it crazy how we try and try to figure out what they are saying sometimes?! Makes me wonder how many funny things we miss out on because we stop trying to translate for them.
Love that moment when you finally figure it out! I wouldn't mind some hot tub lessons myself!
