Thursday morning Kellen and I went for a walk around our neighborhood before it started raining. At the end of our walk, I started feeling like I might have a UTI. So, after Kellen's nap we went to Walmart to get some cranberry juice. By the time I got home from Walmart, I was in horrific stomach pain. I eventually got ahold of Tandon at work and asked him to come home. I called him again after what seemed like hours (he assured me it had only been a few minutes) to make sure he was coming. We loaded everyone up in the car and headed to the hospital.
In the mean time, we called my brother, who is an EMT, to see if he might know what was going on. He asked me a few questions and concluded that I probably had a kidney stone. At the ER, I was finally given
wonderful pain medication and diagnosed with a kidney stone. Way to go Mark!! Luckily it passed late Friday night, so I did not have to have surgery. I must say, a kidney stone is as bad as, if not worse than, childbirth!! At least with childbirth there is something to look forward to.
Our friends and church were wonderful!! Kellen was well taken care of throughout the whole ordeal and Tandon was well fed. What a blessing!! Thanks guys!
