Whew

Glad that's over!

And no one was hurt in the process.

Nor were any mother-of-the-year awards given out for the accomplishment.

I guarantee I will do it differently next time, but somehow--despite me--Kellen is officially potty trained. . . well bladder trained. We're still working on the bowels.

He woke up Thursday morning and it just clicked. He hasn't had any accidents since.

We've been to Walmart, Sunday School, and Church since Thursday and come home from each outing in dry clothes. Yea!!

However, I guess when a boy starts wearing underwear everything changes. At Walmart on Saturday, I reached down to hold his hand and he looked up at me and said in his sweet voice, "I no like that. I no like to hold your hand."

Sigh. How did that happen? My tiny baby boy is now wearing underwear and telling me he doesn't want to hold my hand.

Independence...give them a little and they take a bunch...just kidding. :) Glad that you have had some success. BTW...love the belt with the underwear.

Good job Kellen! So sad about the hand holding :(. What will you do differently next time? (since I haven't given it a hard core effort with D & E yet, I'll take any tips you've got!)
