Kellen threw his pluggies away this morning! I'm pretty sure he does NOT understand the ramifications of his decision yet, but he will figure it out all too quickly at nap time. :)
I have been mentioning to Kellen that we are going to throw his pluggies in the trash soon. I did not intend to do it until next week after our trip to Oklahoma to see my grandparents. (I promise I was really going to do it this time. Heehee!) However, Kellen gathered the pluggies up this morning and informed me that he was going to throw them in the trash. I tried to talk him out of it. I tried really hard!! Ha! But he kept insisting. So, in the garbage and out to the dumpster they went.
We called Tandon and my parents to celebrate. Let's hope we are still celebrating this evening after nap. Feel free to call me around 1 o'clock and remind me that this is for Kellen's good. :)

My daughter did the same thing when she was around his age. It was hard for a day or two. I've always heard that you always replace one habit with another. Maybe if you have something else he can sleep with-a special toy or blanket-it will make his transition easier.
Good luck!
Yay! :) Are you guys stopping through Tulsa on the way?
Good job Kellen! How is nap time going?
What a big boy!!! Hope all goes well over the next few days. :)
Thanks for the encouragement guys! Kellen did great! Who would have thought?!
Amber, we changed plans and are now going to OK next weekend. We'd love to see you guys! I'll have Tandon call Cory to talk about it.
Awesome Kellen!! That's such a better and loving story of how he got rid of his passy than ours!!
