Nothing Exciting

Nothing exciting going on around here lately. However, since I haven't blogged in ages, I thought I should give you an update on the mundane happenings of our lives.

Tandon has been working 65+ hours a week in October. Lumber Liquidators transferred his assistant manager to a new store leaving T to work both their jobs while trying to find a replacement. Ugh! I have been so proud of his hard work (even when his hormonal wife complains about the hours). LOVE HIM! He has hired a new assistant who should start in November. There is an end in sight to the insanity! Kellen and I try to visit T at work at least once a week. Kellen gets a ride on the "ractor" if we happen to be there after hours.

Kellen is growing like a weed!! The other day I was looking at him wondering when he started looking more like a little boy than a baby. (sigh) He still uses a pacifier when he sleeps because his mommy is not strong enough to take it away from him. I have had a "throw away pluggie" day marked on my calendar numerous times but always come up with reasons that we should wait. Last week he started calling his "pluggie" by name and even discovered where I keep the extra ones. Now when I put him in his room during my shower he finds ALL the pluggies and has a gay old time. It is high time those things found the trash! I fully intend to get rid of them by the beginning of December. (That will give me 5 weeks to build up the courage to listen to him cry it out. Ha!) Surely since I am sharing this with all of you, I will follow through this time. Right? If you talk to me around that time, please feel free to remind me of all the logical reasons why a child his age does NOT need a pacifier. Maybe with your help my head will overrule my heart. If not, then he may be attending college with his beloved pluggie. :)
Baby # 2 is doing fabulous. I am 22 weeks (6 months) along. I am officially looking pregnant. And I am NOT one of those women that you see from behind and don't realize she's pregnant until she turns around. It is obvious from every angle. :) Hence the fact that I probably won't be posting any more belly pics on here. This baby is very active! When I was pregnant with Kellen I would go as long as 2 days and never feel him. This baby moves at least every 6-8 hours. And it doesn't just move, it kick boxes. It kind of makes me nervous. Does prenatal movement have any indication of personality??

That about sums up our lives in the last few weeks. Like I said, nothing exciting. Just felt like I should update the blog.

Glad you felt like updating! Glad to hear you and the little kick boxer are doing well and Kellen is indeed getting so big.

Both of the kids were extremely active! I will leave it at that!!! I know what you mean about the long hours. When you are ready to take the plug away you can snip the end off and they no longer can suck. Aunt Cindy gave me the idea. It worked great on Bailey.
