Pictures of our little man

Kellen is finally here. He had to spend two extra days in the hospital so that he could learn how to coordinate his suck-swallow-breath reflexes and to treat jaundice. He is now home and doing well. Because he was early and his birth was so traumatic (he was vacuumed out), he sleeps ALL the time. I have to wake him up for each feeding. Hopefully he will wake up and become more alert in the next few weeks.

I am slowly healing, although my blood pressure stayed very high even after delivery. The last few days it seems to be going down. We are hoping it will continue on a downward trend. My mom is still here and helping out a ton! I'm not sure what I will do when she goes home!!!! I told her she could feel free to move in for a few months. She didn't seem as excited about that idea as I was. :-) Tandon had to return to work last Wednesday. I miss his help with diapers during the day!

Over all we are doing well, just extremely tired. Thanks for all your prayers during my bed rest and delivery!!

Thanks for the great update. He looks so much better than his earlier birth pictures...so much more healthy that is. And I did notice that one of your pictures was taken on the blanket you made him. How cool? Did you get my package in the mail today? Hope it's helpful.

He's beautiful!!! Ethan had a hard time staying awake to eat when he was born too. We tried cold hands, wash clothes, and even ice cubes to wake him up! He survived and things got a lot easier... Keep us posted on things!
