Omaha is a wonderful place to raise a family. We love it here!
We just bought our first Indelible Grace CD. Can't stop listening to it! (See the lyrics to one of their hymns at the bottom of this post.)
Miss Mema! Wish I could call and talk to her about everything that has gone on this past week and to hear how wonderful Heaven is! It's strange how one can feel such joy and sorrow at the same time.
Cried on Monday after we got home from the Dr because I needed to call Mema and ask her to pray for my sweet Annie--but she was unavailable because she is singing with the angels. Can you imagine!?!
My girl was so extremely sick last week! Not sure how we managed to keep her out of the hospital...
But we did and the pneumonia has cleared up. Blessed daily with this smiling face. Love her!
Joined our church a few weeks ago. I think Tandon would agree that we have seen genuine faith lived out in the lives of the people at our church. We have grown a lot, simply by seeing God's people love on each other. Grateful that God has placed us exactly where we need to be to grow!
I've asked Tandon numerous times this weekend, 'When did our babies grow up?' They are getting too big!
My tiny house is growing on me. Not bigger--just better. ;)
Have I mentioned we love Omaha?
Didn't anticipate my son enjoying dress up. But he does. Typically he likes to dress up as a pirate, cowboy, or army man, but sometimes a baker will do. :o)
1. On Jordan’s stormy banks I stand,
And cast a wishful eye
To Canaan’s fair and happy land,
Where my possessions lie.
2. All o’er those wide extended plains,
Shines one eternal day;
There God the Son forever reigns,
And scatters night away.
Chorus: I am bound (I am bound)
I am bound (I am bound)
I am bound for promised land,
I am bound (I am bound)
I am bound (I am bound)
I am bound for promised land.
3. No chilling winds nor poisonous breath
Can reach that healthful shore;
Sickness, sorrow, pain and death,
Are felt and feared no more.
4. When shall I reach that happy place,
And be forever blessed?
When shall I see my Father’s face,
And in His bosom rest?
No doubt in my mind that Mema is resting in our Father's bosom feeling no more sickness, sorrow, or pain!! Happy for her, but still sad for us.
