18 weeks (aka 5 months)

I'm 18 weeks into my pregnancy. I have been feeling the baby move for a little over a week now. As much as I complain about pregnancy, feeling the baby makes it all worth it!

Tandon felt the baby for the first time last night. :) I ate chocolate cake at Bible study and by the time we got home the baby was going crazy--kicking hard enough for Tandon to feel. I guess he/she likes chocolate. Must be a girl. Haha!

Hat

We broke out the hat for our walk this morning and can I just say. . .

I love those cheeks!!

Grandparents

Tandon's parents came to visit this past weekend.

Tandon and his dad went fishing, so Kellen got to play with the left over worms. Although, the first time one moved in his hand he threw it down and didn't want to touch them again. I guess that's a good thing, right? I probably won't be finding frogs and bugs in his pockets.

K's all time favorite thing to do-- ride in the "agon"!!

Thanks for visiting Grandpa and Grandma!

Second Trimester

*Caution* No pictures, just words. Feel free to skip this post. :) Pictures coming soon!

This blog has been neglected, as have many other things in my life lately. However, I feel like maybe my energy level is finally returning to normal (second trimester normalcy anyway). Here are a few signs that the second trimester has hit . . .

*I cleaned my bathrooms yesterday. Can't remember the last time I did that. (Sorry Mom, I know that appals you. ha! )

*Finally got my camera back out today. Poor Kellen does not have a 20 month picture because I forgot. I'm sure he won't care, but I will in the years to come. (This sibling hasn't even arrived and it is affecting Kellen's life.)

*We have eaten at home every night this week--food that was not from a restaurant. We ate pizza three times one week in August because I was too tired to cook and because I crave pizza ALL the time! Now Kellen calls ever thing we eat "izza". :)

*My maternity clothes are finally out of the rubbermaid tub and hanging neatly in the closet.

*Kellen and I went to toddler story time at the library this morning, rather than mommy sitting on the couch holding my eyes open while Kellen plays.

*Night time insomnia seems to have passed. I'm sleeping at night now, which-ironically- really helps with day time tiredness. :) Funny how that works!

*I am looking forward to Bible Study tonight. I don't have to worry if anyone will notice if I close my eyes for just a few minutes. I'm pretty sure I will stay awake and engaged the whole time!

I'm looking forward to playing with my sweet boy in a clean house again!
