This handsome guy doesn't get much face time on our blog. Probably because we don't actually see his face very often due to work hours that are not at all family friendly. We've been enjoying 8 fabulous days as a family during his stay-cation. The original plan was to go see extended family this week, but due to numerous uncontrollable circumstances, we decided to stay home, complete a few projects around the house, and just enjoy being together as a family during Tandon's time off. It's been a ton of fun!!

We started the week off with a bang by going to Home Depot. Many hours were spent at that store shortly after we bought our house. During those trips, Kellen drove the car and Anna hung out in her car seat in the front basket. This time, however, she was big enough to drive also. Kellen thought it was great to sit beside her until she started reaching for his steering wheel. Then he ask that we put her in the front basket. Sorry buddy, she is going to be getting into all your stuff before you know it. :)

The major house project that we accomplished this week was repainting our bathroom. The woman who owned the house before us should NOT start a painting business! It took us a whole day just to clean paint off all the light fixtures, shower, tub, and towel racks. We have concluded that she must have been intoxicated while she was painting green. :)

Here's our attempt at a family photo. It didn't work very well.

Saturday morning we went to the B-ville parade. Brrrr! It was cold, and I'm not sure how much Anna enjoyed the parade based on her facial expression. :) But Kellen had a great time collecting candy and looking for frosty.
Anna had her 9 month photo shoot at JC Penny's, Kellen saw his first full length movie--in two sittings--Toy Story 3 (pictured below), T and I went on a date, we completed all Christmas shopping for the kids, and finished up numerous smaller house projects. It's been busy! I wish we had another week to just hang out and relax, but Tandon goes back to work on Thursday and then it's back to reality. On the agenda for tomorrow is decorating a Christmas tree and hopefully a little down time.
We love you Daddy!! Thanks for a fabulous stay-cation. We can't wait for the next one!

Looks like you guys had fun! Sometimes stay-cations are the best kind. Just being home can be a blessing for sure! Are you all coming to Oklahoma for Christmas? We'd love to meet up with you.
So glad you guys were able to enjoy T's company and get some projects done. That's so much better than traveling all over the place, right?!
