Grandma

Tandon's grandma died on Tuesday at the age of 97.

She lived less than 2 miles down the road from Tandon's parent's family farm. Tandon said that he practically moved in with Grandma after his grandfather died in 1985. He remembers driving her car on the dirt road as an elementary kid and switching drivers once they got to the paved highway--so she must have been a brave woman. Ha! Fried chicken was a staple at her house. And I know Tandon loved her ginger cookies--because every time I try to make cookies he comments on how much better Grandma's were. :) She will be missed! But we rejoice in the fact that she is worshipping our Savior right now, rather than confined to a wheel chair.

Please pray for safety as we head to the Oklahoma panhandle this weekend for services.

Romans 6:8-9 "Now if we have died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with Him, knowing that Christ, having been raised from the dead, is never to die again; death no longer is master over Him."

Praying for a safe and uneventful trip! Glad you get to go celebrate her life with family and also glad she is no longer suffering!
