Tearful Goodbyes

The details of the move are slowly coming together. Tandon has accepted a job and we have an application in the mail for an apartment! Housing and jobs did not work out as anticipated, so we are in the process of finding a wonderful new home for Kooper. Many tears have been shed over this decision, but we know it wouldn't be fair to Kooper to put him in an apartment. He needs a yard to run and play. Anyone know of someone who would like a great big puppy?

Our church group had a going away dinner for us last night. The people of Redeemer have been so kind to us. Often Tandon and I have ask each other, "Why are they being so nice to us, they hardly know us?" After having visited the church only a handful of times last fall, the people from the church rallied around us during my bed rest and delivery. People that we had never even met brought meals and threw us a baby shower. They have truly been an earthly example of Christ's love.

The people of Redeemer are convinced that Kellen will eventually come back to his roots. :-) They even gave us a large gift bag full of Texas items to help Kellen remember where he came from. Texans sure are proud of their state!

Many more tearful goodbyes are still to come before we leave. However, we are anxiously awaiting the reunion at the other end.
